College Board
This website is an extremely valuable resource for both parents and students. This website is where students need to sign up for the SAT exam and AP exams. Once a student has made an account, they will also then have access to the college board website. College Board has college searches, SAT, PSAT, and AP information, college matchmakers, and college planning guides that are all extremely useful for a college bound student.
College Board is also partnered with Pearson who has connected all College Board accounts to the online Khan Academy. Khan Academy is an online tutoring center that offers SAT tutoring on each skill that the new version of the SAT tests them on. On top of that, Pearson is also the company that owns the PARCC tests. This means that the Khan Academy online tutoring help can also aid students in PARCC related skills, which are a state mandated graduation requirement for all high schoolers. The Khan Academy provides educational videos and practice problems to pass these graduation requirements.
