New Jersey Children's System of Care
CSOC is a division of the Department of Children and Family Services.  The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is a state department that aids children and adolescents with their emotional and behavioral health.  This is the state department that supports Perform Care and is what will provide the services for families and youth who need help in providing a safe and healthy living environment for children to grow in a family-driven, community-based environment.  This organization's goal is not to pull families apart and make hard times harder, but to steer families towards helpful services, counselors, and guidance that can make families closer and more present in the lives of their children.  The CSOC wants parents to play a central role in the lives of their children and their goal is to help them identify their children's needs and ways to provide for their children to meet these needs.  Many parents who have children with emotional or behavioral problems need support and help in providing for their children's needs.  This department can help provide teachers, services, clinicians, medical personnel, pastors, and other experts.  This NJ division is available 24/7 and can be contacted directly from a parent or with the aid of a Perform Care clinician.
